Everyone has their safe place, whether the side of railroad tracks, the beach, or even a car ride. Everyone has one place that makes them feel like nothing can go wrong, even when their world maybe crumbling around them. My safe place is my room. No matter what was going on with me, I could find peace there. Lately, I began thinking what if you could not get away from that uncomfortable feeling, and you lost your safe space. Through these set of photographs, key aspects of my safe place are displayed with different lightings to portray the uneasiness of how quickly a safe place can feel like a trap.
